BACKGROUND OF THE COMPANY

Cards Technology Limited (CTL) is a technology company with corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. It has its principal place of business in Nigeria at the 2 nd floor of the Roof Top House, 24A Campbell Street, Lagos.

It engages in the printing and personalization of Smart chip and magnetic stripes cards, prepaid GSM telephone cards, and other classes of cards with definitive features. It also engages in transactions processing and switching for financial institutions both local and international.

The company markets its technology products and services to the West African sub region, with primary focus on Nigeria.

CTL is the first company in Nigeria to acquire the Horizon card personalization and fulfillment printer. And as at now it is the first and the only licensed MasterCard Service Provider (MSP) in Africa. CTL also hosts the MasterCard Interface Processor (MIP) for the West African region. The MIP provides the company the right to process and switch MasterCard transactions in the West Africa sub-region.
