The world-class duo of TPII and TP-CMS from IFS International powers the switch, which is at the heart of the entire operations. The TPII solution provides for Transaction Switching, Voice Authorization, Device Management, Card Production, PIN generation & Verification, stand-in for off-line databases and on-line interfaces to MasterCard and other Card schemes. The transactions to be switched by TPII come from a variety of sources such as POS terminals, ATMs, Load/Reload devices, mini switches in banks and card scheme centers, and the international gateway switch of MasterCard.

The TP-CMS handles all card management issues, as well as performs settlement functions with the MasterCard Network. With TP-CMS, Cards Technology Limited is able to monitor individual card account information. Hot cards are held in the database, replacement cards are issued based on preset parameters; monthly statements are generated for all cardholders. A scoring system is put in place for future credit evaluation.

The switch caters to domestic and international transactions.
